KATHMANDU: LG Water Purifier has gained popularity among consumers in Nepal and recorded encouraging sales momentum within less than a month of its launch in the domestic market, according to CG Electronics.

The company said the product's advanced water purification technology, stainless-steel tank and maintenance services have contributed to its early market performance amid competition in the water purifier segment.

LG Water Purifier features a multi-stage purification system comprising sediment filtration, anti-scalant treatment, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis (RO), and mineral booster/post-carbon filtration. According to the company, the system helps remove impurities from water.

The purifier comes with an 8-litre storage tank designed to meet the daily water needs of a family. It also includes an airtight tank cover and locking system intended to prevent dust and other contaminants from entering the tank.

CG Electronics said the product offers a '2 Free Maintenance' facility, including two free scheduled and automated service visits during the first year, two free contactless maintenance services with digital sterilisation care, and two free outside sediment filters.

The company stated that attractive festive offers and 0% EMI facilities available during the Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals have also contributed to customer interest in the product.

CG Electronics, a consumer electronics company under CG Corp Global, is the authorised national distributor of LG products in Nepal. The company said its partnership with LG Electronics Singapore spans more than four decades.

LG Electronics Inc operates in home appliances, home entertainment and air solutions, and offers consumer technology products in markets around the world.
