KATHMANDU: Shangrila Motors, the authorised sole importer of Leapmotor vehicles in Nepal, hosted an exclusive sneak preview of the highly anticipated Leapmotor B10 at its Uttardhoka showroom in Kathmandu today.
The early showcase gave assembled media and motoring enthusiasts their first look at the electric vehicle already making waves for its intelligent design, modern features and smooth performance.
Making its Nepal debut, the B10 sets a new benchmark in the country’s electric-mobility landscape. Equipped with a 67.1 kWh battery, it offers a WLTP range of 460 km on a single charge, while its 160 kW motor delivers refined power and brisk acceleration. A five-star Euro NCAP safety rating underlines Leapmotor’s commitment to passenger protection.
Attendees were given an up-close demonstration of the B10’s stylish exterior, advanced onboard systems and overall driving experience, which aims to redefine the Nepali EV market.
The official launch and price reveal will take place at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, organised by the Nepal Automobiles Importers and Manufacturers Association, running from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu. Final pricing is expected to be confirmed during the event, with the Leapmotor B10 likely to be offered at under Rs 6 million.
