KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto, in partnership with Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, has officially launched Nepal’s first exclusive Chetak State-of-the-Art Experience Zone in Naxal, Kathmandu. The 1,800-square-foot electric-vehicle showroom was inaugurated on Monday by Abhimanyu Golchha, Director of Golchha Group, alongside senior executives from Bajaj Auto and its authorised Nepal distributor.

The opening of this experience zone underscores Bajaj Auto’s ambition to accelerate the transition to sustainable, smart mobility across Nepal. By providing a single location that combines premium customer touchpoints with integrated after-sales services, the company aims to position the Chetak brand as the leader in urban electric commuting.

Designed to immerse visitors in the world of Chetak EV, the new facility brings every element of the ownership journey under one roof. Guests can take on-site test rides and make instant bookings, explore interactive product displays and witness live charging demonstrations. A dedicated Chetak-only service centre at the same address ensures prompt after-sales support, while EV experts offer personalised consultations amid minimalist décor, ambient lighting and state-of-the-art digital interfaces.

“At the heart of this showroom lies our commitment to seamless electric mobility,” said Abhimanyu Golchha at the inauguration ceremony. “We want everyone who visits to experience Chetak’s timeless design, trusted performance and the promise of a sustainable future.”

The all-new Chetak 3501 merges classic retro styling with advanced electric technology. It delivers a certified range of 153 km on a single charge and features an IP67-rated full-metal body for all-weather durability. A five-inch smart TFT touchscreen provides navigation, call and music controls, while keyless access, remote immobilisation, anti-theft alerts and accident detection enhance security. With 35 litres of under-seat storage—the largest in its segment—and a battery that reaches an 80 per cent charge in just three hours, the Chetak 3501 sets new benchmarks for performance and convenience in Nepal’s electric scooter market.
