KATHMANDU: Agni Motoinc unveiled two new BGauss electric scooters, the BG RUV 350 and BG C12, at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

The launch was presided over by Agni Group Chairman Cabinet Shrestha and attended by dancer and influencer Kabita Nepali, senior Agni Group executives, media representatives and prospective customers.

Positioned as a “Rider Utility Vehicle”, the BG RUV 350 blends the robustness of a motorcycle with the convenience of a scooter. It is offered in two variants: the RUV 350 iEX at Rs 279,400 and the RUV 350 MAX at Rs 325,300. Both share a 3.5 kW PMSM in-wheel motor that delivers 165 Nm of peak torque, a top speed of 75 km/h and up to 145 km of certified range in the MAX trim. Key features include 16-inch alloy wheels, 160 mm ground clearance, an IP67-rated battery and motor, cruise control, hill-hold assist and three riding modes.

The BG C12 targets urban commuters and families, combining comfort with smart technology. It is available as the C12 iEX for Rs 228,400 and the C12 MAX 3.0 for Rs 304,900. Both models are powered by a 2.5 kW motor, reach 60 km/h and offer up to 123 km of range. Riders benefit from a 12.7 cm TFT display, USB charging, 27 litres of under-seat storage and three riding modes plus reverse; the MAX 3.0 adds cruise control and an upgraded 2.7 kWh battery.

Both scooters feature a tubular-chassis frame, all-metal body panels, regenerative braking and hydraulic telescopic front suspension. Their lithium-ion batteries carry a three-year warranty and reach 80 per cent charge in under three hours for the RUV 350, or full charge in up to six and a half hours for the C12.

Agni Motoinc, the authorised BGauss distributor in Nepal, is displaying the scooters at Hall D, Stall D6 of the NAIMA Mobility Expo. Visitors can test-ride both models throughout the exhibition or at the official BGauss showroom in Uttardhoka.

With a manufacturing capacity of 100,000 vehicles a year in Pune, India, BGauss aims to redefine daily commuting through safe, stylish and technology-driven electric mobility solutions. Agni Group says the two new scooters reaffirm its three-decade commitment to introducing innovative, customer-focused products to the Nepali market.
