KATHMANDU: LRR Motors officially launched the Geely EX5 and JY Air, two of the most anticipated electric vehicle models, at the opening ceremony of the 17th NADA Auto Show in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on Tuesday.
LRR Motors is the authorised importer of DreamSmart China’s Geely range in Nepal and has been appointed the authorised importer for JY Auto Group’s EV lineup.
Both models are available for test drives and purchase throughout the show, which runs until Sunday, with special introductory discounts.
The Geely EX5 Max is on offer at Rs 6.499 million, down Rs 300,000 from its standard price, while the EX5 Pro is priced at Rs 5.499 million, reduced from Rs 5.8 million. The sophisticated JY Air Ultra, originally priced at Rs 6.8 million, is now offered at Rs 6.399 million, and the JY Air Lite can be bought for Rs 4.999 million, down from Rs 5.4 million.

LRR Motors has also unveiled an exclusive booking scheme. Customers who place a non-refundable reservation of Rs 200,000 will secure the discounted prices and may choose one of three rewards: an iPhone 16 Pro Max, one tola of gold or a cash rebate of Rs 180,000.
These limited-time offers underscore LRR Motors’ commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and appealing to Nepali buyers.
