
KATHMANDU: The second edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 cricket tournament will take place from November 17 to December 13.
Eight teams will compete: Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Pokhara Avengers, Lumbini Lions, Sudurpaschim Royals and Karnali Yaks. The tournament is organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), and the players’ mini auction has already been completed.
The inaugural Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League was held from November 30 to December 21 last year, with Janakpur Bolts claiming the title.
Ahead of this year’s competition, the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur is being upgraded, with a new parapet and floodlights installed at the stadium.
