Biratnagar Metropolis opens technical and vocational education and training promotion centre
BIRATNAGAR: Biratnagar Metropolitan City in Morang District has established a technical and vocational education and training promotion centre.
The Sagarmatha I-Lab Group in Koshi Province, the School of Education at Kathmandu University and ETH Zurich in Switzerland are collaborating on the establishment of the promotion centre.
Metropolis Mayor Nagesh Koirala said the promotion centre will be instrumental in producing the technical workforce needed at the local level and in the provinces. He added that it would help create employment and foster entrepreneurship among young people, connecting them to industry and the market through skills enhancement.
