KATHMANDU: Global technology leader Xiaomi has officially unveiled two new additions to its Redmi lineup in Nepal: the Redmi 15 and Redmi 15C, both designed to deliver premium features, sleek design and high performance.
The Redmi 15 is targeted at users seeking maximum battery life and robust performance. It boasts a 7,000 mAh battery that can last up to two days of regular use and supports 33 W fast charging. An 18 W reverse-charging feature allows the device to function as a power bank in emergencies.
A 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144 Hz refresh rate offers smooth, responsive visuals, while TÜV Rheinland triple eye-care certification reduces eye strain. The phone’s quad-curve design and IP64 rating ensure comfortable handling and resistance to splashes and dust.
Photography is handled by a 50 MP AI dual-camera system and an 8 MP front-facing camera for sharp selfies. Performance is driven by the Snapdragon 685 chipset, HyperOS 2 and Google Gemini. Storage is expandable up to 2 TB.
Likewise, the Redmi 15C features a slim 7.99 mm profile and a 6,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging and 10 W reverse charging. It includes a two-year warranty.
Its 6.9-inch HD+ display refreshes at 120 Hz, and the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor ensures smooth operation. The 50 MP AI dual-camera and 8 MP front camera offer versatile shooting, including portrait and night modes. Storage is expandable to 1 TB, and HyperOS 2 brings Google AI tools such as Circle to Search and Gemini. The device also carries an IP64 rating.
The Redmi 15 is available in Sandy Purple, Titan Grey and Midnight Black in two configurations: 6 GB + 128 GB at Rs 18,999 and 8 GB + 256 GB at Rs 21,999. The Redmi 15C is offered in Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue and Mint Green across three configurations: 4 GB + 128 GB for Rs 14,999, 6 GB + 128 GB for Rs 16,499 and 8 GB + 256 GB for Rs 18,999.
