KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has suspended today’s capital market trading following the imposition of a prohibitory order in Kathmandu Valley.
NEPSE issued a public notice announcing the suspension of trading and stated that it had received requests from securities trading members and investors to halt trading after the prohibitory order was issued within the valley.
“As a curfew order has been issued inside the Ring Road and requests to suspend trading have been received from many trading members and investors, all securities trading today has been suspended as per Rule 21(1) of the Securities Listing and Trading Regulation, 2075,” the notice said.
