KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has appealed for the immediate return of any weapons, communication devices, vehicles, belongings or other assets belonging to the force or other security agencies seized during protests between September 8 and 10.

Members of the public may hand over recovered items to their local police station, any district police office or by calling Police Control 100. They may also call the toll-free number 16600141516 or contact Nepal Police Headquarters on 9851293459 to arrange a return.

Nepal Police has warned against the misuse of police uniforms taken by protesters and urged anyone with information about such incidents to come forward.

Authorities emphasised that returning seized property and providing relevant intelligence will aid efforts to restore law and order following recent unrest.
