NIA directs insurers to resume normal operations
KATHMANDU: Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has directed all insurance companies to resume normal office operations from today, noting that the adverse situation of the past few days is now returning to normal.
With the easing of curfew and prohibitory orders, the NIA has urged all insurers and their branch offices to operate at full strength from today.
Previously, the NIA issued directives to facilitate the payment of insurance claims for damage caused by the agitation and demonstrations on 8 and 9 September across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley.
