KATHMANDU: Golyan Group has announced a support programme for families of those killed during the Gen‑Z movement of September 8. The company is pledging health insurance for parents and educational assistance for younger siblings up to grade 12.
The company said the initiative would provide comprehensive health insurance coverage for parents of the martyred and would fund schooling for their younger siblings and children through the 12th standard. Golyan Group described the measures as an act of shared responsibility intended to ease financial burdens and to sustain the aspirations of the victims’ families.
The group said it had committed to protect the privacy and dignity of affected families and would not disclose their names or images, adding that the assistance was offered in quiet solidarity rather than public display.
Golyan Group said the Gen‑Z movement of September 8 symbolised a generation’s drive for change and has pledged ongoing support to help write the next chapter through compassion, commitment and collective care.
