
KATHMANDU: Everest Bank has inaugurated its 126th branch at Daldale in Devchuli Municipality-13 of Nawalpur district.
The bank has expanded its branch in an effort to provide modern banking facilities to customers of different sections of society.
Ek Dev Poudel, Devchuli Municipality-13 Ward Chair; and Sudesh Khaling, Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank; jointly inaugurated the branch amid a special function in the presence of Tej Prasad Neupane, Senior Vice President of FNCCI Devchuli Municipality; Binod Poudel, Inspector, Armed Police Force Daldale; Sudhir Gautam, Provincial Manager of Lumbini Province Everest Bank; and Puspa Raj Uprety, Head Marketing and Institutional Deposit Department of Everest Bank; among other dignitaries of the society.
On the occasion, Ward Chair Poudel stated that the financial access of the people will be easier and enhanced with the presence of EBL in the region.
Likewise, Everest Bank CEO Khaling assured that residents of Daldale and different areas of Nawalparasi will have modernised and qualitative banking facilities from the newly opened branch. Further, he added that due to the joint venture with Punjab National Bank India Ex-Indian Armies can easily and conveniently receive the pension through EBL. With this new branch, the total number of branches of EBL in Gandaki Province has reached 13.
EBL, a joint venture partner with Punjab National Bank India, presently has a customer base of over 1.3 million — one of the highest in the industry.
Presently the bank is rendering professionalised and efficient banking services through its wide domestic network of 126 branches, three extension counters, seven provincial offices, 161 ATMs, 32 revenue collection counters and also through its widest global network.
