Leapmotor and Citroën Open State-of-the-Art Showroom in Pokhara
POKHARA: Global automobile brands Leapmotor and Citroën have expanded their footprint in western Nepal with the launch of a new showroom in Pokhara. The facility, located at Shiv Chowk, was inaugurated on Friday, 11 October, during a ceremony attended by business leaders and industry stakeholders.
The showroom, operated by S.S.L. Motors Company Pvt. Ltd., offers multi-brand services and is designed to international standards. As the official dealer for Leapmotor and Citroën in the Pokhara region, the company aims to provide a full suite of 3S services - Sales, Service, and Spares under one roof.
Gokarna Karki, President of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, served as the chief guest at the event, while Laxman Suvedi, President of the Pokhara Hotel Association, attended as the special guest. Local industrialists, business professionals, and members of the media were also present.
The launch event also marked the local debut of Leapmotor’s new electric vehicle, the B10, which the company describes as a smart, safe, and energy-efficient offering. The B10 is available in two variants – Life and Design. The Life model is priced at NPR 55,00,000, with an introductory offer of NPR 49,99,000. The Design variant is listed at NPR 60,00,000, with a launch price of NPR 56,99,000.
According to the company, the B10 features a 67.1 kWh LFP battery with a certified range of 600 kilometres (CLTC), a 160 kW motor, an AI-powered cockpit with OTA (Over-the-Air) software updates, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that includes Lane Assist, Emergency Braking, and a 360-degree camera system.
Speaking at the event, Gopal Baral, Managing Director of S.S.L. Motors, highlighted the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He said that both Leapmotor and Citroën vehicles had seen growing popularity in Pokhara and expressed confidence that the B10 would appeal to a wide range of buyers.
With the opening of the new showroom, S.S.L. Motors aims to offer a premium automotive retail experience, complete with expert consultations and test drives. The company expects the addition of electric vehicles like the Leapmotor B10 to help accelerate the transition to cleaner mobility in the region.
