KATHMANDU: LRR Motors, the authorised importer and distributor of Geely EX5 electric vehicles in Nepal, has announced an expansion of its dealer network with plans to appoint 14 dealers within a year.

The company has said it aims to open two dealership showrooms in each of Nepal’s seven provinces to make premium electric mobility accessible nationwide and to provide convenient access to sales, service and spare parts.

Dealers for Biratnagar and Butwal have already been appointed, and their showrooms and service facilities are due to open within a month. These outlets are expected to offer vehicle displays, test drives, financing options, after‑sales support and genuine spare parts in line with Geely Group’s international standards.

“We are thrilled to announce the first phase of our nationwide dealership expansion. Our goal is to bring Geely’s advanced electric vehicles closer to Nepali customers in every province,” said Jeevan Jung Shahi, director of LRR Motors. “With the establishment of new dealerships in Biratnagar and Butwal, we are confident that customers will experience our brand’s promise of quality, reliability and innovation first‑hand at their doorsteps.”

The Geely EX5 Pro and Max have drawn strong interest in Nepal for their modern design, spacious interiors, advanced safety features and efficient performance. Adhir Shrestha, head of sales at LRR Motors, said the expansion plan follows an overwhelming number of enquiries from customers and prospective dealers across the country.

LRR Motors said the wider dealer network would support Nepal’s transition to clean‑energy mobility and that further dealership appointments will be announced in the coming months.
