Gold price drops by Rs 6,900 to Rs 242,800; silver at Rs 3,135

KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has decreased in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 242,800 per tola (11.66 grams) today, down from Rs 249,700 on Friday, a decrease of Rs 6,900 per tola.

Similarly, silver is trading at Rs 3,135 per tola today, compared with Rs 3,285 per tola on Friday.

The price of gold in the international market is set at $4,085 per ounce today.
