NCICK to hold Kathmandu Business Expo 2026 in Kathmandu on Jan 28-31

KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Industries and Commerce Kathmandu (NCICK) is preparing to hold the Kathmandu Business Expo 2026 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, from January 28 to 31.

The festival is being organised to strengthen Kathmandu Valley’s identity as the economic, cultural and tourist centre of Nepal and to promote local products, art, culture, tourism, business and innovation at national and international levels.

Organisers said the expo will feature about 200 modern business stalls and will include exhibitions of local products and services, traditional food competitions, a food fest, concerts, live music, displays of art and culture, thematic processions, tourism promotion programmes, photography spots, health camps and other activities.

NCICK expects more than 100,000 visitors to attend the four-day event, which aims to expand markets for local products, create investment and trade opportunities, strengthen the valley’s cultural and tourism identity, expand business networking, support new entrepreneurs and startups, and generate employment.

Exhibitors will represent a wide range of sectors, including domestic industrial products, clothing and apparel, automobiles, electronics and home appliances, handicrafts, agricultural products and machinery, furniture, food and beverages, information technology, travel and tour services, real estate, herbal and organic products, banks and financial institutions, and district-specific special products.

Visitors are expected to include members of the general public, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, young entrepreneurs, students, start-ups, tourists, food enthusiasts, international guests, import-export traders, retailers and art and culture followers.

To ensure broad reach and effectiveness, organisers have opened sponsorship opportunities at Title, Diamond, Gold and Silver levels, as well as Exhibition Partner and special supporting packages. Participating organisations will receive publicity through media promotion, digital campaigns, television, radio and print advertisements, outdoor hoardings, banners and ground activation.
