Gold price rises to Rs 256,600 per tola, silver to Rs 3,905
KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has been continuously increasing in the domestic market.
Gold has risen by Rs 3,500 per tola (11.66 grams) today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is being traded at Rs 256,600 per tola today against Rs 253,100 on Thursday.
Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 3,905 per tola today; it was traded at Rs 3,805 per tola on Thursday.
According to international media, gold is being traded at $4,275 per ounce and silver at $62 per ounce in the international market today.
