CHITWAN: Media Space Solutions and Futurex Trade Fairs and Events are set to organise the '8th Nepal Agritech International Expo' from January 16 to 18, 2026, at the Chitwan Expo Centre in Bharatpur.

The three-day exhibition aims to modernise the agricultural sector and promote technology. It will feature more than 100 stalls from agricultural companies representing Nepal, India and China.

Visitors will find information on poultry farming, fisheries, goat farming, cattle and buffalo rearing, the dairy business, agricultural tools and equipment, veterinary services, food technology, pesticides, fertilisers, seeds, agricultural training and financial facilities.

Organisers expect entrepreneurs, researchers, students, representatives of organisations and farmers at home and abroad to follow modern technologies and resolve queries at the event. A limited number of stalls remain and bookings are progressing rapidly.

Entry to the expo is free. Displays and demonstrations will range from small tools that make agricultural work easier and more affordable to large equipment used in dairy machinery and the poultry industry. In a press release, the organisers said the exhibition will be a milestone in supporting the mechanisation of Nepal’s agricultural sector.

Organisers believe the expo will help identify technologies and services suitable for Nepal’s agriculture. Their use is expected to increase production and help the country become self-sufficient in agricultural products.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the National Agriculture Modernisation Project are promoters of the expo. Supporting organisations include the National Dairy Development Board, Nepal Agriculture Co-operative Central Federation, National Farmers Group Federation (NFGF), National Association of Rural Municipalities in Nepal, Nepal Poultry Confederation, Mushroom Producers’ Association – Nepal, and Chitwan Association of Industries (Chitwan Udhyog Sangh).
