KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company, a global leader in two and three-wheeler manufacturing, has concluded the debut edition of the TVS Apache Racing Experience (ARE GP) in Nepal, marking the brand’s 20th anniversary of the TVS Apache series.
Held at the Vehicle Academy and Research Centre, Satungal, the first selection round drew more than 60 riders and over 300 visitors. The event offered participants the chance to train, race and experience professional racing under the guidance of TVS Racing champions on a professionally designed track featuring 10 challenging corners.
Competing across three categories — 160cc, 200cc and 310cc — riders were judged on their fastest lap timings. Consequently, the top three finishers in each category won a cash prize of Rs 25,000, exclusive TVS Motor riding gear and direct entry to the ARE GP Grand Finale at the Madras International Circuit (MIC) in Chennai in April 2026.

In the 160cc category, Sujan Thapa Magar finished first, followed by Bibek Pandey and Prashant Sutihar. Meanwhile, Abhinav Raj Malla won the 200cc class, with Nimesh Thakuri second and Milan Chhushyabaga third. In the 310cc category, Deelip Danuwar took first place, with Ram Bikram Thapa and Shreetesh Thapa completing the podium.

TVS Racing introduced the ARE GP Championship in 2007 as a platform for Apache riders to combine learning and competition. Moreover, in 2025, the championship expanded internationally to Nepal, Mexico and Colombia alongside events in 17 Indian cities, reaching more than 1,000 Apache riders worldwide. TVS Racing says it has trained over 3,000 riders across categories and aims to develop ARE GP into a premier international motorsports championship.
At the day-long event in Satungal, engagement activities included a wheelie ramp, stunt shows, and a gymkhana session for more than 200 spectators, followed by entertainment from DJs Sujan, Kiran and Sabin.
