KATHMANDU: vivo, a global technology brand, has launched a nationwide promotion in Nepal offering a free World Cup jersey with the purchase of selected vivo smartphones priced above Rs 35,000. The limited-time offer runs until February 10, 2026, and is available through vivo’s official online retail partner, Daraz.
The promotion applies to the vivo Y400, V60 Lite, V60, X200 Pro and X300 Pro models. The initiative builds on vivo’s Daraz 2.2 campaign, which was held from February 2 to February 6.
"Cricket is more than a sport in Nepal — it is a shared national emotion," said Dipesh Khanal, Brand Manager at vivo Nepal. "Through this campaign, we want to recognise the incredible support of fans and give them a chance to proudly wear the national colours while experiencing the innovation and features of vivo smartphones."
vivo said the campaign aims to combine technology and sports fandom by encouraging customers to upgrade their devices while showing support for the national team during the World Cup season. Customers who buy eligible phones online through Daraz during the promotion period will receive a free World Cup jersey as part of the offer.
In addition to the jersey giveaway tied to purchases, vivo plans a series of digital and on-site fan engagement activations. The company said these events will give cricket supporters further opportunities to receive free fan jerseys and take part in interactive brand experiences.
The campaign underscores vivo’s ongoing involvement in Nepali cricket, the company noted, citing past partnerships from the Nepal Premier League to international events and reaffirming its commitment to supporting the sport and its fans across the country.
