Vote counting of PR system continues; 8,308,813 votes counted so far

KATHMANDU: A total of 8,308,813 votes have been counted so far in the proportional representation system of the House of Representatives member election. 

As of 10:44 am this morning, Rastriya Swatantra Party has received the highest number of votes with 4,010,017, according to the Election Commission, Nepal. Similarly, Nepali Congress received 1,349,789 votes, CPN (UML) 1,143,901 votes, Nepali Communist Party 588,092 votes, Shram Sanskriti Party 290,018 votes, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party 275,162 votes. Vote counting is underway.
