KATHMANDU: Manaram Group has appointed Pradikshya Sharma as chief executive officer (CEO) of Manaram Himalayan Handicraft and Sagar KC as CEO of Manaram Farm.
The appointments form part of a strategic drive to accelerate growth across the group’s core business units and expand its international presence. The group, a Nepal-based manufacturer and exporter with more than two decades of operational experience, said the moves were intended to strengthen operational performance, drive innovation and support expansion in domestic and overseas markets.
Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Suman Shrestha said the moves reflected the group’s long-term vision to improve operational excellence and broaden its global footprint. “We are confident that the new leadership will bring strategic direction, innovation and strong execution capabilities to their respective businesses,” he said.
Founded in 2003, Manaram Group began by exporting traditional Nepali products such as chhurpi and handicrafts to the United States. Over more than two decades, the company has diversified into agriculture, dairy, pet products, food services and manufacturing. The group now comprises several companies and employs more than 450 people.
Manaram Group emphasised its commitment to quality, ethical business practices and innovation, with a focus on using locally sourced ingredients and empowering rural communities, particularly women who make up a significant proportion of its workforce.
The group also highlighted its social commitments through the Manaram Foundation, which supports education initiatives across Nepal, including the establishment of libraries and scholarship programmes for underserved communities.
With a growing presence in international markets and a diversified product portfolio, Manaram Group said it aims to continue promoting high-quality Nepali products abroad while contributing to efforts to reduce the national trade deficit.
