DHARAN: BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) on Tuesday launched an online portal called 'Hello BPKIHS' to receive suggestions and grievances from the public, as well as from faculty, staff and students, the institute said.

The portal replaces the earlier system that required people to submit feedback in writing to the Planning and Monitoring Division in the Vice-Chancellor’s office or to meet the Suggestion and Grievance Redressal Committee in person every Sunday between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. With the new system, complainants can now register their feedback from home using a mobile device or computer.

To submit a grievance or suggestion, users must visit the BPKIHS website at www.bpkihs.edu and click the 'Hello BPKIHS' button at the bottom of the homepage, or go directly to hello.bpkihs.edu. Complainants should click the New Grievance button, complete the online form and may upload supporting evidence if available. The portal also allows users to track the status and progress of actions taken on their submissions.

BPKIHS said the portal includes an audio guide titled Portal Overview to help users understand how to use the system and complete the registration process, and recommended that users listen to the instructions before proceeding.

The Suggestion and Grievance Redressal Committee will review incoming submissions and forward those found legitimate to the Vice‑Chancellor for necessary action. The institute emphasised that feedback from the public and stakeholders is a primary basis for institutional improvement and that all details of suggestors and complainants will be kept completely confidential.

BPKIHS said the portal is intended to make the feedback process more systematic and accessible, enabling quicker and more transparent handling of concerns and suggestions.
