NRB invites bids for Rs 25bn bonds

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited bids for bonds totalling Rs 25 billion.

A public notice issued by the central bank in Kathmandu today states that bonds of 2084 'Ng' (2027 'E') may be bid for online. Only banks and financial institutions (BFIs) classified as A, B and C that hold licences from NRB (counterparties) are authorised to participate in the auction.

Counterparties must specify the amount they wish to bid and the interest rate, quoted to up to four decimal places. Bids must be submitted in multiples with a minimum of Rs 50 million and a maximum equal to the total call amount, provided the amount is exactly divisible by Rs 50 million.
