Dipa Dahal appointed press and research expert to PM Shah

KATHMANDU: Journalist Dipa Dahal has been appointed press and research expert to Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

She was appointed to the post on Friday in accordance with the Prime Minister's Advisor and Secretariat Management Procedure, 2074 BS. Dahal, who has established herself as an investigative journalist, is a writer and media lecturer for over two decades.

According to the Prime Minister's private secretariat, Dahal will undertake roles in communications strategy, research and media management for Prime Minister Shah. She has experience of contributing to radio, television, print and online journalism.

She was most recently working as a senior correspondent for ukaalo.com, an online news portal.
