Gold price rises to Rs 302,700 per tola; silver to Rs 5,220 per tola: FENEGOSIDA

KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver rose in the local market today, with fine gold up by Rs 6,000 per tola and silver by Rs 320, according to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).

FENEGOSIDA has fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 302,700 per tola and silver at Rs 5,220 per tola.

Last Monday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 296,700 and silver at Rs 4,900. On Sunday, the price of gold was Rs 297,100, and silver was Rs 4,975, showing modest fluctuations over the past few days.

According to international media reports, one ounce of gold is trading at $4,828 and one ounce of silver at $80 in the international market today.
