KATHMANDU: Agencies granted licences to process the travel of workers for foreign jobs must disclose the name, contact number and location of a focal person, the Department of Foreign Employment said on Friday.
This requirement applies when applying for pre-approval in foreign employment demand letters.
A notice issued by the Department said the provision also requires agencies to advertise for workers, publish the notice in national dailies and notify the Department.
Although a provision already requires agencies to state the name, contact number and location of an official of the organisation, the Department has received complaints that potential applicants have found it challenging to reach the authorised channels and personnel, the notice said.
