Ncell’s ‘Pahilo SIM’ for SEE students bundled with free online learning and gaming
KATHMANDU: Ncell has launched a special prepaid offer, 'Pahilo SIM', for students who appeared in this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE), allowing them to buy an Ncell SIM for Rs 50 with a package of bundled services.
Under the offer, Pahilo SIM subscribers receive 2GB of data, 50 minutes of all-network talk time, and free access to the Mero School learning app and the Gaming Premier League (GPL) for 28 days. Mero School provides video classes for students, while GPL offers access to HTML-based games.
The package also includes free access to the Khalti digital wallet without incurring data charges. Customers who recharge Rs 50 or more will receive an additional 500MB bonus data valid for seven days. Students who subscribe can choose their preferred Ncell mobile number at the time of purchase.
The SIM is available at any Ncell centre nationwide. To subscribe, SEE candidates must present their SEE admit card and a valid government-issued identity card; the SIM will be activated after verification.
Ncell said the Pahilo SIM is intended to make telecommunications more accessible and affordable for SEE students and to add 'meaningful value' as they begin using mobile services. The company said it is continuing the popular Pahilo SIM offer to help new mobile users stay connected for learning and leisure during the early stages of their mobile journey.
