KATHMANDU: LS Auto, the energy vehicle arm of Shanghai Launch Automotive Technology Co, has opened a new showroom in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, and launched its latest model, the LEV X.
The Gyaneshwor outlet was inaugurated by Blue Corporation, which represents LS Auto in Nepal and has been operating showrooms across Kathmandu for the past year. The LEV X arrives as an all‑wheel‑drive addition to the LEV Series, joining the LEV 01 crossover electric SUV that has been on sale locally since its debut.
With Blue Corporation as LS Auto’s official distributor in Nepal, both the LEV 01 and the LEV X all‑wheel‑drive variants are now available in the Nepali market. The manufacturer is offering a motor and battery warranty of eight years or 150,000 kilometres for buyers, and LS Auto noted that the vehicle has earned a 5‑star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash test.

The company said it has begun operations at the Gyaneshwor showroom and has established a service centre in Kalopul, Kathmandu, as part of plans to expand charging infrastructure and after‑sales support nationwide.
To mark the Nepali New Year 2083, Blue Corporation announced exchange camps and special offers at the new showroom. “Customers can come to the showroom for a test drive, and an attractive gift hamper is also included in every test drive. After booking, customers can also receive a daily gift certificate,” said the company’s general manager, Nabin Phuyal.
The launch is part of LS Auto’s expansion into Nepal’s electric vehicle market, with an expanded retail presence, service facilities and customer incentives intended to boost adoption.
