KATHMANDU: Digi School Global presented the Digi Awards to students from partner schools on Friday.
The awards recognised outstanding students from schools where its IT programmes ran during the academic session 2082. The ceremony, held in the presence of parents and guardians, celebrated achievements in categories linked to practical IT learning.
The primary basis for evaluation was the Mid-Air Projects that students prepared as part of their curriculum in the previous academic session. Digi School Global selected one class winner from each grade for particularly innovative projects.
Five students who performed exceptionally within the Digi Clubs at partner schools received special awards for their contributions to club activities and peer learning.
Digi School Chairperson Bigyan Shrestha said the awards aim to promote a competitive spirit among students, highlight the possibilities within information technology and turn classroom learning into practical application.
Digi School CEO Raju Baniya said, "We do not just provide technological knowledge; we encourage how students can use what they have learned to solve real-world problems. Today's winners are the foundation of tomorrow's Digital Nepal."
Parents at the event expressed pride and happiness on seeing the projects their children created using technology, saying such programmes help boost students' confidence and practical skills.
Digi School Global pledged to continue running creative and practice-oriented educational initiatives in the IT sector in the coming days.
