Paying tribute to workers worldwide, CIM President Nand Kishor Rathi said, "Workers' Day is a historic symbol of struggle, unity, and social justice." He added that CIM acts as a bridge to ensure worker welfare and maintain balanced industrial relations, resulting in a harmonious partnership between the chamber and regional trade unions.

CIM Vice-President for Employer Sector, Subodh Koirala, emphasised the need for cooperation in a changing global economy, saying, "In the current global climate, technological evolution and economic challenges require closer collaboration between management and workers to drive productivity and boost morale."

Sushil Koirala, President of the Nepal Trade Union Congress Morang Committee, said the growth of industries must go hand-in-hand with the protection of labour rights and identified dialogue and transparency as the primary foundations for that balance.

The event was attended by former CIM presidents, executive members, local entrepreneurs, and representatives from major trade unions including the Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC), the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) and the All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF), along with workers from various local industries.
