KATHMANDU: Soaltee Hotels & Resorts has begun managing a five‑star property on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, the company announced on Monday. The resort, owned by Classic View Resort Limited, will operate as 'The Soaltee Resort Shivapuri National Park' under a hotel management agreement and strategic collaboration. The agreement was signed by Sudarshan Chapagain, Vice President of Soaltee Hotels & Resorts, and Mukunda Raj Kunwar, Chairman of Classic View Resort Limited, formalising the launch.
The property sits close to Shivapuri National Park and offers sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley amid forested hills. It currently has 25 guest rooms and a private villa, with 51 additional luxury rooms under construction and scheduled for completion by November 2026.
Dining options at the resort include an all‑day restaurant called Guras, the Aairak Bar, and Jungle Fire, a signature barbecue terrace that features grilled specialities and bonfire experiences. Wellness facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, spa, steam and sauna rooms, and a fully equipped fitness centre. The resort also offers hiking trails, bird‑watching and other nature activities.
Event and leisure spaces comprise a modern banquet hall, two open lawns and an amphitheatre, which the operator says are suitable for weddings, corporate events and retreats. The company highlighted the site’s natural spring water and opportunities for wildlife and bird observation as part of the guest experience.
Soaltee said the new property expands its presence across Nepal’s tourism destinations and brings its international five‑star standards together with Nepali hospitality. With this addition, the group now operates its third property in the Kathmandu Valley.
