CG Electronics expands LG campaign across Nepal, launches Essential Series

KATHMANDU: LG Electronics and its authorised distributor CG Electronics are expanding the Harek Gharko Khusi, Ghar Gharma LG (Happiness of every home, LG in every home) campaign across Nepal and introducing a new line of home appliances, the LG Essential Series.

The company is following a national unveiling at Hotel Vivanta in Kathmandu with regional programmes in Itahari on June 29, Narayangarh on July 1, Pokhara on July 3, Butwal on July 5 and Nepalgunj on July 7. The events will allow local consumers to view the Essential Series products, learn about their features and select models suited to household needs.

The Essential Series includes double-door refrigerators, fully automatic top-load washing machines and room air conditioners developed with Nepali lifestyles and local conditions in mind. LG said the range combines modern technology, reliable performance, durability and accessible pricing.

Key features for the refrigerator include Frost-Free Technology and a Smart Mode that automatically adjusts cooling, along with a 20% larger vegetable storage capacity compared with previous models. The washing machine is equipped with a ProShield Motor, BMC cover, an IPX4 water-resistant control panel and Low-Pressure Fill Technology to improve performance under low water pressure. The room air conditioner uses energy-efficient technology with R32 refrigerant and offers both cooling and heating while consuming less electricity than traditional non-inverter models.

Sales and distribution of the LG Essential Series across Nepal are scheduled to begin in June 2026, with initial prices starting at approximately Rs 49,690. The products will be available through authorised LG Brand Shops, multi-brand retail outlets and major e-commerce platforms nationwide.
