Govinda Bahadur Karki appointed chief secretary of Nepal
KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Govinda Bahadur Karki as new chief secretary of Nepal.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar approved the appointment on Wednesday, government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel said.
Incumbent Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal is due to retire on grounds of reaching the age limit in two days.
