KATHMANDU: HH Bajaj, the authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched a new financing scheme with Hulas Finserv Hire Purchase to make vehicle ownership more accessible.

The facility, which is regulated by Nepal Rastra Bank, allows customers to secure loans for up to five years (60 months), extended from the previous three-year tenure.

The plan also reduces the interest rate to 8.99% from 9.99%, lowering monthly financial commitments for first-time buyers, young professionals, salaried individuals and families.

The revised options apply across the entire Bajaj motorcycle range, from the Platina 100 ES to the Dominar 400.

According to the company, the monthly instalment for the Platina 100 ES falls from approximately Rs 3,255 to Rs 2,124, saving customers about Rs 1,131 each month. For the Dominar 400, the monthly payment decreases from roughly Rs 8,227 to Rs 5,370, a monthly saving of around Rs 2,857.

Similar reductions are available across other Bajaj models sold in Nepal, including the Pulsar 125, Pulsar N125, Pulsar 150, Pulsar N150, Pulsar N160, Pulsar 220F, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar N250 and NS400Z.

The company said the scheme is a long-term financing initiative rather than a limited-time promotional offer and is intended to address the challenge of monthly payments, which often present a larger hurdle for buyers than the initial purchase price.

HH Bajaj added that the customer-focused initiative will help more people in Nepal own their preferred Bajaj motorcycles through manageable monthly instalments, and reaffirmed its commitment to introducing further financing solutions as market demand evolves. The facility can be accessed at HH Bajaj showrooms across Nepal.
