KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced ticket prices, the digital booking platform and the match schedule for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The tournament will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur from October 26 to November 21, 2026.

The tournament features eight franchises: Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals. All 32 matches will be played at the Kirtipur venue.

The opening match will be played today at 4:30 pm, with defending champions Lumbini Lions taking on Sudurpaschim Royals. Matches on single-fixture days will begin at 4:30 pm, while double-header days will feature matches at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

CAN said general admission tickets for round-robin league matches are priced at Rs 500, while premium enclosure tickets cost Rs 1,000. For the playoff stage, including the eliminator and final, ticket prices rise to Rs 1,000 for general admission and Rs 2,000 for premium access.

Spectators are required to purchase tickets online through the official mobile app or web portal. Entry to the stadium will be facilitated through dynamic digital QR codes. CAN has removed physical ticket counters at the venue to curb unauthorised ticket reselling and ease entry procedures.

Digital financial service provider eSewa has been appointed the exclusive ticketing partner after it acquired distribution rights for Rs 8.5 million.

Security arrangements for the tournament include the deployment of more than 1,000 police personnel daily. Personnel from Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force, Nepal (APF Nepal) will oversee security operations using closed-circuit television cameras, trained security dogs and drone surveillance throughout the tournament.
