KATHMANDU: Arya Pharmalab has entered into a three-year partnership with Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) as the health partner of Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The agreement comes as the company marks its 30th year of operation and aims to promote health awareness through cricket while strengthening links between sports and public health, according to Arya Pharmalab.
Under the partnership, Arya Pharmalab plans to provide basic health check-ups, health consultations and information on healthy lifestyles through NPL-related activities.
The company is operating health consultation and health check-up booths, public awareness programmes, and sports and entertainment activities at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground during NPL matches. Arya Pharmalab said the initiatives are intended to engage spectators and encourage greater awareness of health-related issues.
Arya Pharmalab will also present a 'Healthy Partnership Award' of Rs 25,000 each to two players in every match in recognition of outstanding performance and sportsmanship. One spectator in each match will receive the 'Heartbeat Moment of the Match' award worth Rs 20,000.
Arya Pharmalab said the partnership marks a significant milestone as it completes 30 years of establishment. The company expressed confidence that linking health awareness campaigns with cricket would help health-related messages reach a wider audience.
