Private: Interaction on Nepali economy and capital market held in Australia

KATHMANDU: An interaction programme was organised to interact with potential investors and enthusiasts in the city of Sydney, Australia today. The programme was facilitated by Mekh Bahadur Thapa, Deputy CEO of NIBL Ace Capital Ltd in presence of Anil Pokhrel, CPA, National treasurer NRNA Australia. Raju Pokhrel and Dipendra Panta coordinated the programme where the participants represented NRN and CA/CPA group residing in the city of Sydney. In the programme, Thapa highlighted various aspects of the Nepali economy and capital market along with the investment opportunity for participants and other enthusiasts representing the Nepali community. He also highlighted the ongoing digital reforms and other latest developments in Nepal’s capital market. Pokharel, CPA, National treasurer NRNA Australia, highlighted the NRN initiative of citizenship issue they are long demanding for free investment and other rights except for political ones. Also, he showed concern on the repatriation of money back along with income on investment when needed. The participants were overwhelmed by the initiation of Thapa to communicate the prospects and opportunities of Nepali capital market in Sydney where the participants were briefed about the opportunities and challenges of investing in Nepal's capital market through various investment instruments.
