KATHMANDU: The eighth edition of Nepal Buildcon International Expo has begun at Bhikrutimandap in Kathmandu today.
Nepal’s Media Space Solutions in collaboration with Futurex Trade Fair and Events of India has organised the four-day international expo.
The international expo was inaugurated by Minister for Urban Development Bikram Pandey, Nepal Buildcon International Expo shared on its Facebook page. Minister Pandey inspected the stalls set up at the exhibition.
More than 150 companies have participated in the international expo where more than 300 brands and products have been showcased, according to organisers.
Apart from the international expo, the organisers are also hosting Nepal Housing & Investment Expo 2023 and Nepal Construction Machinery and Heavy Equipment International Expo 2023 to showcase construction equipment and heavy equipment of national and international companies.
Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN), Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Heavy Equipment Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FHEAN) and Nepal Crusher and Mining Industries Federation are among the supporters of the international expo.
Nepal Buildcon International Expo focuses on five key enablers — Facilitating Growth, Competitiveness, Promoting Infrastructure Investments, Developing Human Capital and Encouraging Social Development.
