Manang Air chopper en route from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu goes missing

KATHMANDU: A helicopter of Manang Air en route from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu has been reported missing since 10:01 am today. According to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, the helicopter with the call sign 9NA-MV took off from Surkhe of Solukhumbu for Kathamandu carrying five passengers onboard. "TIA is informed about the chopper losing contact after it arrived at Lamjura Pass. Last time, the crew sent a text 'Hello' on Viber from Lamjura Pass.
