
KATHMANDU: Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has increased the fare of domestic flights citing price hikes in petroleum products. The new list of the fare will come into force from Wednesday, the Association said in a notice.
The association said the charge of aviation fare for domestic flights has been increased from minimum of Rs 170 to maximum of Rs 840.
As per the new price list, Rs 840 has been increased for the fare for Kathmandu-Dhangadhi route, making it Rs 16,805 as the full fare.
The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation on Sunday increased the price of aviation turbine fuel (Domestic) by Rs 19 per litre. With the latest price hike, the retail price of ATF (Domestic) has gone up to Rs 185 per litre.
