KATHMANDU: InDrive inaugurated a new office at Corridor Marg in Jwagal, Lalitpur, on Friday. The office was formally opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and is located at Corridor Marg, Kupondole, Lalitpur, opposite the 5th Avenue store.
Mark Tolley, Regional Director at inDrive, thanked the company’s partners and the public for making inDrive a usable service. Speaking on the new office, he said, "We have planned for years to open this office at a location that works for the business, for riders, and for drivers alike."
Following his remarks, Nikolay Olesov, Head of Driver Operations for inDrive in the Asia Pacific region, shared this location's commitment to providing further support for inDrive drivers.
Former Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, spoke about the ongoing debate on ridesharing and public transport conglomerates in Nepal. He mentioned, "The objective is to have convenient, safe and effective public transport for people to use. In this age of competition, I call on inDrive to ensure that its ridesharing services remain reliable and safe." He further applauded the growing adoption of inDrive's services by both riders and drivers.
To conclude the event, Rita Pokharel, Director of Business Development for Nepal and Bangladesh at inDrive, remarked, "This new office represents inDrive's commitment to listening to user feedback."
The office is intended as a space where users can interact directly with inDrive representatives, thereby enhancing access to the service.
