KATHMANDU: Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) is set to host Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, powered by Everest Bank and National Insurance Company, from August 6 to 10 in Kathmandu.
The expo, billed as Nepal’s largest automobile event, aims to make mobility in the country smarter, cleaner and more connected. NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya said 50 brands are poised to launch 35 new products and will offer unprecedented deals to visitors.
Auto Expo Committee Head Sirish Kumar Murarka said the first edition will be held at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Grounds, where significant infrastructure enhancements such as a new drainage system and disability-friendly facilities have been completed. He added that the show will unveil immersive vehicle displays and innovative mobility solutions, with 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers and five commercial vehicles set to debut.
Key partners include Khalti by IME (ticketing), Mountain Dew (beverage), Himalayan Java (brewing), Pathao (rides), HIK Vision (surveillance), WorldLink (connectivity), Soaltee Hotel (hospitality), Frontline Hospital (medical services), Ncell (telecom) and Media Space Solution (management).
Ride partner Pathao will offer up to 30% discount on trips to Bhrikutimandap during the expo, while Frontline Hospital will provide round-the-clock ambulance coverage and on-site medical care.
NAIMA has also launched an online competition that will award Rs 100,000 to one content creator who uploads a video on Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 by August 6, and Rs 10,000 each to the next 10 top submissions received between August 6 and August 10.
Tickets are available via Khalti by IME. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) and the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), NAIMA will donate 5% of ticket sales to fund scholarships and research fellowships in the mobility sector.
