CNIYEF partners with NHRC to harness AI and blockchain for field incident reporting

KATHMANDU: Confederation of Nepalese Industries Young Entrepreneurs Forum (CNIYEF) has collaborated with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to harness artificial intelligence and blockchain technology for fast and accurate field incident reporting.

CNIYEF President Manish Shrestha, governing council member Amun Thapa and NHRC member Lily Thapa held a meeting today to outline the digital reporting framework.

The NHRC recently formed an investigative team, chaired by Lily Thapa, to probe claims of rights abuses during the Gen Z demonstrations on September 8.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the death toll from the recent Gen Z demonstrations has reached 36, and 1,368 people have been injured as of September 12.
