KATHMANDU: Nepal Vanaspati, Ghee, and Oil Manufacturers’ Association (NVGOMA) has donated Rs 5 million to the government’s Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund to support ongoing national reconstruction efforts.

In a special programme organised in Kathmandu recently, NVGOMA President Vikkas Dugar and immediate past president Sandeep Agarwal handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Rameshore Prasad Khanal.

Speaking at the programme, President Dugar emphasised that the initiative reflects NVGOMA’s deep sense of responsibility and solidarity towards the nation’s rebuilding process and said collective participation from all sectors is crucial to ensuring the country’s sustainable recovery.

On the occasion, Finance Minister Khanal expressed his appreciation for NVGOMA’s timely support, saying such contributions from private sector play a vital role in mobilising resources for large‑scale reconstruction and in building a stronger, more resilient Nepal.

The event was attended by NVGOMA office‑bearers and officials of the Finance Ministry.
