Machhapuchchhre Capital holds financial literacy programmes during World Investor’s Week

KATHMANDU: Machhapuchchhre Capital held a series of financial literacy and awareness programmes nationwide as part of World Investor’s Week 2025. Activities were held between December 11 and 17, with further sessions planned to continue after those dates, the institution said in a press release.

Under its corporate social responsibility, the institution conducted awareness and interaction sessions for MBA students at Quest International College, Gwarko, Lalitpur, on December 15, and for BBA students at Makawanpur Multiple Campus, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-2, Makawanpur District, on December 16. On December 17, the company hosted events for members and employees of the Regional Hotel Association and the Restaurant and Bar Association in Sauraha, Chitwan, as well as for employees and residents of Arjunchaupari Rural Municipality in Syangja district.

The programmes aimed to raise financial awareness among investors and the general public across various sectors, the company said. It expects the initiatives to contribute to the economic empowerment of investors, encourage responsible financial decision‑making and help maintain overall financial stability. Machhapuchchhre Capital has been conducting similar awareness‑oriented initiatives on an ongoing basis, it added.

Machhapuchchhre Capital is a subsidiary of Machhapuchchhre Bank. Established as a public limited company, the merchant banker provides services including securities underwriting, investment management, corporate advisory, issue and sales management, share registration, depository participant services and mutual fund services through the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
