KATHMANDU: Leapmotor has launched a new campaign, 'Leapmotor Sanga 1 Din', aimed at transforming how customers evaluate electric vehicles. Recognising that a conventional 10-minute test drive is insufficient to fully assess a car’s feel or to make a confident purchase decision, the company is offering prospective buyers the opportunity to take a Leapmotor vehicle home for a full day at no cost.
Under the programme, customers can integrate the vehicle into their everyday routines rather than limiting evaluation to a short loop near the showroom. By driving the car to work, running errands and using it on their regular routes, drivers can judge how well the vehicle suits their lifestyle and how it performs on local roads.
Moreover, Leapmotor’s capacity to roll out this initiative reflects its strong market position as China’s leading EV startup. The brand has reported global sales of more than one million vehicles, including 596,555 units delivered in 2025 alone.
According to the company, its global popularity is attributed to a focus on safety and innovation. Leapmotor vehicles use CATL LFP batteries and the company’s proprietary Smart AI technology, positioning the brand at the forefront of next‑generation driving.
The ownership also comes with extensive after-sales support through more than 1,700 sales and service points across over 40 countries. Leapmotor Nepal is inviting interested customers to visit their nearest showroom to test-drive and experience the technology first-hand.
Shangrila Motors is the authorised sole distributor of Leapmotor vehicles in Nepal.
