KATHMANDU: OPPO Nepal launched the OPPO Reno 15 5G, the latest flagship in its Reno series, at an event in Kathmandu on Thursday.
The company said the device is positioned as a premium offering that balances high-end performance, advanced imaging and refined design for users seeking a flagship smartphone experience.
Designed to meet flagship expectations, the Reno 15 5G combines a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform, and is supported by a 6500mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO said the phone’s display supports 1.07 billion colours, delivers up to 1,200 nits peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
The smartphone features a pro-grade triple rear camera system led by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Further imaging hardware includes a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the front houses a 50MP ultra-wide front camera that supports 4K video recording.
The Reno 15 5G is available with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs ColorOS 16 and offers in-display fingerprint recognition and face unlock, OPPO said.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, infrared remote functionality and dual nano-SIM capability.
The launch event in Kathmandu brought together media, industry partners and members of the technology community, who were allowed to experience the device and its key features first-hand, the company said.
OPPO Nepal said the Reno 15 5G will be available across Nepal through OPPO-authorised retail stores and partner channels nationwide.
