Bajaj New Year QR campaign offers daily smartwatches, up to Rs 1 lakh in cash

KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, the authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched a New Year promotional scheme called 'Bajaj New Year QR' to mark the New Year 2083.

The campaign, which carries the slogan 'Now don’t just pay cash with QR, win cash!', invites customers to scan QR codes placed at Bajaj’s authorised showrooms and across various media and social networks to play a game and win prizes. The company said the initiative aims to combine a digital experience with opportunities for tangible rewards.

Under the scheme, one participant will win a smartwatch every day. In addition, Bajaj customers will be eligible for cash prizes of up to Rs 100,000 and other gifts, the company added.

The company mentioned that QR codes have primarily been used for payments until now, and the campaign repurposes the same medium to offer customers a chance to win cash and prizes. The QR scheme will be available at all authorised Bajaj showrooms across the country, and customers can participate simply by scanning the codes displayed at those locations.

Golchha Group director Abhimanyu Golchha said the campaign responds to rising digital adoption. “With the growing use of digital technology, we wanted to give customers a new and interesting experience. We believe that the opportunity to win cash by scanning QR codes will make customers even more excited,” he said.

Hansraj Hulaschand & Company said it expects the New Year offer to add excitement and energy for customers considering the purchase of Bajaj motorcycles.
